Meet the team behind the Gadgets for Ghana (G4G) initiative.
Kofi Fynn
Founder
My name is Kofi Fynn and I am a student at SOS Hermann Gmeiner International College. During the COVID pandemic, my brother Kwamina and I were fortunate to benefit from virtual learning and many virtual resources, but we realized that there were too many other young people in Ghana who were not able to do the same. This remained the case after COVID. We recognized that having that opportunity would greatly improve their future education and career prospects. Because of this, we decided to start Gadgets for Ghana, to provide them with that opportunity. In my free time, I love to play basketball, swim, and listen to music.
Nigel Nettey

My name is Nigel Gerald Nettey and I am a student at SOS Hermann Gmeiner International College. I joined the G4G team because I want to help students who don’t have the gadgets they need for school, because I believe that everyone should have a fair chance to learn and succeed. I enjoy swimming and watching movies.
Maame Adwoa Owusu-Brefo
Co-founder
My name is Maame-Adwoa Fosuaa Owusu-Brefo. I am a student at SOS Hermann Gmeiner International College. Having moved to a school where we could use computers whenever we pleased from a school with barely any technology taught me a lot about the value of gaining education with technology. Without access to computers, I would have never learned how to type, or do many of the other things I enjoy now. Given that, it is now my wish that every child, like me, grows up with access to these resources and gets the most out of their education. I like music, photography and art.
Kwamina Fynn

My name is Kwamina Fynn and I am a student at Ghana International School (GIS). My brother and I decided to start G4G based on our COVID experience - whilst we continued our learning virtually, we realized that there were many other children who did not have the same opportunity. We felt that having that would greatly improve their education and future prospects. So we decided to start Gadgets for Ghana to try to change this, and to also work on gadgets, which we love using.
In my free time, I love to play basketball and swim and to play with gadgets and devices.
Joshua Agbey

Hello my name is Joshua and I go to school at SOS-HGIC. When my friend Kofi told me about G4G and its mission, I was immediately intrigued. I have always believed that access to technology can transform a person's destiny, and so wanted to make good on this belief. I am committed to giving my all to see this initiative succeed. In my free time I enjoy swimming, reading and watching shows.
